The angle beats the creative
Why 40 variants of one idea go nowhere.
A creative test is only a test if the two things could plausibly produce different outcomes. Forty variants of the same claim, shot in the same room, with the same first three seconds, are one advert with forty file names.
The unit worth testing is the angle: the reason a person should care, stated before any production happens. Origin story. Ritual. Price per use. Time saved. Each of those implies a different hook, a different proof, and a different objection to handle.
Run three angles at once, each with two executions. If an angle loses, it loses in two weeks and it takes only two pieces of production down with it. If it wins, you already know which of the two executions carried it, and you can spend the next month going deeper rather than wider.
The teams that scale creative are not the ones producing the most. They are the ones whose losing ideas are cheap.
